NUR 317A Pharmacology in Nursing Care Management

Prerequisite: NUR 300A, NUR 303A, NUR 305 and all sophomore level Nursing courses including sciences.

Course Description: This course focuses on pharmacological interventions used for the most prevalent challenges to health across the life span. Emphasis will be on drug action and the effect on the person. Pharmacological therapeutics including herbal and homeopathic substances will be studied as they relate to nurse's role and responsibility in nursing care management.

Course Rotation: PLV: Spring.
