Course Description: This course provides mastery of the computer keyboard and the development of good typewriting techniques. It is especially designed to enhance the computer operators facility in entering data.

Course Description: This course is designed to introduce the fundamental principles of information technology and explore the use of the computer as a tool for human empowerment. The student will develop an understanding of the computer by learning to write simple computer programs, use the Internet for research and communication, and by learning to use various software applications, including spreadsheets, graphics, database, and communications. Under the direction of the classroom instructor, the students will introduce community students to the use of the personal computer.
