MBA 628 Business Statistics and Modeling

Course Description: Provides the quantitative foundation for business analysis and decision making. Introduces students to descriptive statistics, probability, statistical inference and regression analysis with wide applicability in decision making and problem solving in all functional areas of business. Also introduces the decision modeling tools of mathematical programming and simulation, with applications to finance, production and marketing. The statistical methods are integrated into decision modeling. Assume a knowledge of basic Excel and develops expertise in data analysis through-out the course.
