MBA 663 Managing People: Individuals and Teams

Prerequisite: You must be a member of the full time MBA cohort program to register. Please contact Ms. Amy Vandawalker at to register.

Course Description: A manager's ability to build constructive relationships is a prerequisite to harnessing a business organization's most valuable resource - its people. This module focuses on the skills necessary to manage individual and group dynamics in the pursuit of an organization's business goals. It lays a foundation for much of the MBA curriculum, which is why it is offered early in the program. With a combination of theory, personal assessment and new cognitive skills, students develop proficiency in problem-solving related to the human side of business enterprises. Simulated managerial situations provide a real-world perspective that adds depth and meaning to the theoretical aspects of the course.

Course Rotation: NY: Fall and Spring.
