NURS 298 Evidence-Based Practice and Nursing Research

Course Description : This course is an introduction to evidence based practice and nursing research. The student will learn both how to search for the evidence that is available to guide practice, and to critically appraise that evidence. The student will develop a focused clinical question, find the research evidence to answer that question, and evaluate it in relation to its readiness for translation into practice. In this course the student will learn the research process and how to appraise the level and quality of the evidence.
