NURS 422 Pharmacology for Professional Nursing

Course Description: This course, for students in the accelerated program, introduces the principles of pharmacology for health promotion, restoration, and maintenance across the life span. Drug classifications, mechanisms of action, adverse reactions, and dose and drug interactions are presented. The nurse�s role in safe and effective care related to pharmacology is emphasized.
