CIT 348 Data Mining

Course Description: Advances in database technology along with the phenomenal growth of the Internet have led to unprecedented masses of data available for analysis. Data mining and knowledge discovery are methods and techniques used to analyze these data in order to determine patterns and their relationships. Because of its massive size, it is difficult for analysts to sift through the data even though it may contain useful information. Course Rotation: NY, PL, WP: Fall, Spring, and Summer.
